Fatos rápidos: Este conjunto é o museu de arte mais antigo da Argélia e está localizado no bairro de El Madania, de onde se tem vista para o Mediterrâneo e para a cidade. A coleção abrange obras de mestres argelinos e europeus a partir do século XVII.
Destaques: Na entrada, uma grande parede de mosaico feita de milhares de azulejos de cerâmica coloridos espera os visitantes. Do terraço do edifício, tem-se uma das melhores vistas panorâmicas de toda a cidade de Argel, incluindo o imponente jardim botânico Jardin d'Essai.
