Fatos rápidos: Suas cúpulas douradas brilham como chamas sob o sol do meio-dia, visíveis a quilômetros de distância. Cada ano, milhares de devotos percorrem longas distâncias para oferecer orações e acender lâmpadas de óleo diante da divindade da deusa Kali.
Destaques: O que realmente surpreende é o altar principal: uma imponente figura da deusa Kali de quase três metros de altura, esculpida em pedra negra e decorada com guirlandas frescas de jasmim que os sacerdotes trocam a cada amanhecer. Os muros interiores são cobertos por mais de 500 pequenos sinos de bronze que os fiéis tocam ao passar, criando um coro metálico constante que vibra por todo o recinto.

- If you visit during the Kali Puja festival (October or November), you will see the temple lit up with over a thousand clay lamps.
- Remove your shoes before entering the temple; there is a designated area on the side of the main entrance to leave them.
- Do not miss the small sacred pond behind the temple: devotees believe its waters have blessed properties.
- The best photos are taken from the northwest corner of the courtyard, which captures the three golden domes against the open sky.
