Fatos rápidos: Peter Paul Rubens desenhou ele próprio esta casa e estúdio grandiosos, e aqui viveu e trabalhou durante quase três décadas até à sua morte em 1640. O interior contém mais de uma dúzia de obras do mestre, juntamente com peças de outros pintores flamengos como Van Dyck e Jordaens.
Destaques: Todo o edifício foi minuciosamente reconstruído no século XX após séculos de abandono, com a planta original do século XVII a guiar a restauração. Entre no jardim e encontrará um pórtico barroco e um pequeno pavilhão encomendado pelo próprio Rubens, um local onde ele costumava passear com aristocratas e colegas pintores.
