Fatos rápidos: No morro Bunardzhik, a 156 metros de altura, está uma estátua de 11,5 metros de um soldado com um rifle apontado para o leste. Os moradores de Plovdiv a chamam carinhosamente de Alyosha, em homenagem ao herói de uma canção russa sobre um soldado soviético.
