Fatos rápidos: O altar de cedro no interior brilha com douramento em nove camadas mesmo quando apenas velas estão acesas. A sacristia guarda 46 cálices de prata, o mais antigo dos quais traz o ano 1652 gravado e tem mais de 370 anos.
Destaques: Antes da colheita do milho, os paroquianos acendem 33 velas por três dias diante da imagem do padroeiro, costume registrado nos livros paroquiais desde o século XVIII. Na capela lateral oeste abre-se uma vista única dos terraços esculpidos pelos antepassados, e nos raios de outono tudo se veste de dourado.
