Fatos rápidos: Este caminho sinuoso pela floresta de Heiligenberg recebeu o nome do poeta alemão Friedrich Hölderlin, que percorreu estes mesmos trilhos durante sua estancia em Heidelberg. A rota estende-se por aproximadamente 2 quilómetros e dispõe de 12 estações com poemas e citações gravados em pilares de pedra.
Destaques: No punto mais alto do trilho, encontrará a Thingstätte, um enorme anfiteatro ao ar livre construído na década de 1930 que hoje acolge concertos e eventos sob o dossel das árvores. Poucos visitantes sabem que a ligação real de Hölderlin com Heidelberg foi breve, mas este trilho imortaliza o seu profundo afeto pela paisagem da cidade no poema "Heidelberg".
