Buy a Waterford Greenway bike pass early morning, trails are less busy then and the views are incredible without the crowds.

Weather was pretty unpredictable, packed a raincoat even in summer. City has a chill vibe, stayed 3 days which felt just right. Food was decent but not amazing.

If you want authentic Irish stew, skip the main square restaurants and head to a small pub on John Street, prices were better and food way tastier.

Waterford’s not as touristy as Dublin, so you get a laid-back atmosphere. Our stay was nice but the rain cut one day short.
