Fatos rápidos: Esta avenida se estende por quase 7 quilômetros e tem cerca de 600 figueiras que criam um teto natural sobre as calçadas. É o lugar onde foi assinada a Declaração de Independência de Israel em 1948, na casa do primeiro prefeito.
Destaques: No número 16 da avenida fica a Casa da Independência, onde David Ben-Gurion proclamou a independência do estado diante de uma pequena multidão, não mais que 25 presentes.
