Fatos rápidos: Este parque foi comprado em 1893 por 160 libras graças ao dinheiro conjunto de ex-escravos, tornando-se um símbolo de liberdade e união. Hoje é patrimônio nacional protegido e ponto de encontro onde acontecem as celebrações anuais da Emancipação.
