Fatos rápidos: Lar do ameaçado macaco Barbary, mais de 300 espécies de plantas prosperam nas florestas de cedro e carvalho do parque. A altitude do parque, superior a 1.600 metros, significa que o inverno traz uma camada de neve, transformando a paisagem em uma cena saída diretamente dos Alpes.
Destaques: No fundo da floresta, impõe-se um imenso cedro de 800 anos chamado "Gouraud", com mais de 12 metros de circunferência e que exige seis pessoas de mãos dadas para abraçar seu tronco. A lenda local diz que a árvore foi nomeada em homenagem a um general francês, e seus galhos antigos abrigaram pastores berberes em inúmeras tempestades de neve.
