Fatos rápidos: Instalado dentro de um convento do século XVI, o acervo abrange mais de 500 anos de história da arte de azulejos. Um monumental panorama de 36 metros de comprimento da Lisboa pré-terramoto é criado a partir de 1.300 painéis de azulejo individuais.
Destaques: Entre na igreja do convento e olhe para cima: as paredes brilham com entalhes dourados e azulejos azuis e brancos que sobem 20 metros até o teto. O próprio claustro é revestido por um friso de azulejos do século XVII que retrata cenas pastorais, onde cada painel conta uma pequena história visual ao longo de 30 metros de corredor em arcos.
