Fatos rápidos: As cúpulas azuis e brancas desta igreja são feitas de milhares de azulejos cerâmicos pintados à mão que brilham sob o sol mediterrâneo. Sua construção levou quase 70 anos desde o início do século XX, com pescadores e agricultores locais contribuindo com azulejos que eles mesmos fizeram.
Destaques: No interior, o retábulo de madeira foi esculpido por um escultor local chamado Miguel Box, usando madeira de uma única oliveira de 400 anos. Durante o festival anual de Moros y Cristianos em abril, a igreja se torna o cenário dramático para batalhas simuladas com mais de 500 participantes fantasiados marchando pelas estreitas ruas brancas.
