Fatos rápidos: Em forma de crescente e estendendo-se por quase dois quilômetros, a praia enfrenta o Oceano Índico com águas turquesa que permanecem calmas durante a monção sudoeste de novembro a abril. Bem em uma extremidade, um enorme afloramento rochoso chamado Parrot Rock emerge das águas rasas, completamente acessível a pé na maré baixa.
Destaques: Ao amanhecer, os pescadores locais ainda empurram suas canoas de casco simples para as ondas usando técnicas passadas por gerações, suas silhuetas iluminadas pelo sol nascente.
