Fatos rápidos: Mais de 5.000 artefatos preenchem 13 salas de exposição, abrangendo desde o período Paleolítico até o período Otomano. O acervo do museu inclui peças das cidades antigas de Perge, Aspendos e Side, todas escavadas na região circunvizinha.
Destaques: A peça central do museu é o sarcófago "Hércules Chorando", uma obra-prima de mármore do século II que mostra os doze trabalhos do herói em detalhes de tirar o fôlego. Esculpido em um único bloco de mármore, o sarcófago foi contrabandeado para fora da Turquia na década de 1960 e só foi devolvido após uma batalha judicial de anos com o Museu Getty.
