Fatos rápidos: As terraças paralelas são antigas margens glaciais formadas há cerca de 12.000 anos quando o vale estava inundado por um lago glacial. Os vestígios mostram três níveis de terraças que podem ser vistos claramente ao longo do vale, em diferentes altitudes.

Destaques: As bordas dessas terraças se estendem por quase 5 quilômetros e têm uma altura de até 30 metros, criando linhas naturais quase perfeitas na encosta. Pode-se caminhar longas distâncias aproveitando a sensação de flutuar sobre paisagens que parecem pintadas, com vistas panorâmicas para o campo e as montanhas.
