Melhor época para visitar

Visit on a weekday morning right at opening time, around 10:00 am, when tour groups are smallest. The outdoor deck and harbor views are most enjoyable on a clear day, with midweek fall visits offering the lightest crowds.

Dicas para economizar

Expect to pay around $30 for adult admission; the Boston CityPASS or Go City Boston pass includes entry and can save money if you're visiting several attractions. Check the official website for seasonal online discounts and family bundle pricing.

Sobre

Fatos rápidos: On December 16, 1773, colonists tossed 342 chests of tea into the harbor, roughly 92,000 pounds worth over $1 million in today's money. Visitors get to throw tea chests into the water themselves, then go below deck to see surviving artifacts like the Robinson Half Chest.

Destaques: The Robinson Half Chest is one of only two known surviving tea chests from that December night, and it still holds actual tea leaves, smelling faintly of three centuries of history. Real-time hologram actors put you in the middle of that December 16, 1773 meeting, complete with fog rolling off the harbor as you shout alongside Sam Adams at the Old South Meeting House reenactment.

Dicas de quem conhece

  • Print or download your ticket beforehand; showing up 15 minutes early secures you a spot in a smaller tour group.
  • Arrive at opening on a weekday to beat school groups and peak summer lines.
  • The counterfeit SONS OF LIBERTY newspaper is printed on the colonial press, so grab one as a fun free keepsake.
  • Limited theater seating means the best views of the hologram show go to anyone who moves toward the front quickly.

Tours a pé gratuitos. Sim, realmente gratuitos. Sem necessidade de cartão de crédito. Sem pegadinhas.

Guia local, 2-3 horas

Você vai me agradecer depois.
