Walking across the bridge is completely free. If you want the best photo, it is worth renting a boat with a rower for 50,000 VND (about 50 CZK) for 20 minutes. You will ride directly under the bridge.

Fatos rápidos: Todas as noites, a ponte se ilumina alternadamente em sete cores, atraindo mais de 10 mil visitantes diariamente para um passeio por seus 402 metros. Dezenas de barcos de turismo passam sob seus arcos, oferecendo vista para a cidade iluminada a partir do rio Hương.
Destaques: Durante a Guerra do Vietnã, a ponte foi bombardeada duas vezes e, em ambas as ocasiões, os moradores a reconstruíram com as próprias mãos usando materiais originais retirados do rio. À noite, jovens casais se reúnem na ponte para dar o primeiro beijo sob a luz colorida, os moradores locais a chamam de "ponte dos apaixonados".

- Photographers should arrive at 6:30 PM to capture the blue hour and the first lighting of the bridge in one shot.
- Instead of walking on the bridge, sit in the tea house on the left bank. From there you have the whole bridge in perspective and the crowds are not pushing you.
- Avoid Saturday evenings, when the bridge is most crowded with locals and tourists.
- Take a light jacket even in summer. In the evening a pleasant cool wind blows from the river.
