Weekdays early in the morning or late in the evening, when the square is free of tourist crowds and you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. December is worth a visit because of the Christmas markets that light up the square with thousands of lights.

Rýchle fakty: Kedysi sa tu konali popravy čarodejníc a na dlažbe dodnes nájdete kameň označujúci miesto, kde stával pranier. Uprostred námestia stojí budova starej radnice z 15. storočia, ktorú zdobí veža s hodinami a pestrofarebné strechy.

The best photo is taken from the alley leading to the Black Church, from where the square is visible in all its beauty.
