Rýchle fakty: Tento vodopád pretekajúci hustými lesmi okresu Ratnapura padá z výšky 30 metrov a svojím tvarom pripomína list stromu Bodhi. Vodopád padá v troch úrovniach a jeho voda sa vlieva do rieky Kuru vita, ktorá sa neskôr stáva súčasťou rieky Kalu.
Zaujímavosti: Počas obdobia dažďov, keď je prietok vody na vrchole, je hukot vodopádu počuť na kilometer ďaleko a všade naokolo vzniká z vodnej hmly dúhová podívaná. Miestni veria, že kúpanie pod týmto vodopádom lieči kožné choroby, a preto sem každoročne prichádzajú tisíce pútnikov.

- Wear shoes with good grip due to the narrow valley and slippery path; going in slippers or sandals can be dangerous.
- There is a small platform on the left side of the waterfall which offers the best photo angle of the entire waterfall; reach there before 8 am on weekends.
- Do not swim directly under the waterfall, the water pressure can be very strong; instead bathe in the natural pool formed on the side.
- There are no food shops nearby, so be sure to carry a water bottle and some light snacks with you.
