Rýchle fakty: Táto svätyňa sa rozprestiera na 32 000 hektároch a voľne sa v nej pohybuje viac ako 500 slonov. Nachádza sa tu viac ako 200 druhov vtákov vrátane šri Lanského páva a orla.

- Wear khaki or green colored clothes and avoid bright colors so as not to distract the animals.
- Book an open-top jeep for the safari; photography is difficult in a closed jeep.
- Animals are rarely seen between 12 pm and 3 pm, so choose morning or evening time.
- Be sure to carry binoculars and a water bottle with you; water is not available inside the park.
