Istaknuto: The building itself tells a story of Liverpool's maritime past: climb the stairs and you'll walk the same floors where dockworkers once hauled crates of sugar and coffee. Some galleries still have the original loading bays and cast-iron columns, mixing industrial grit with bright white gallery spaces that make contemporary art feel even more striking.
