Quick facts: The sparkling pebbles on this beach come from ancient volcanic rocks, and the sea is so clear that the bottom can be seen even at five meters depth. Local fishermen still use traditional wooden boats, which you can see cruising close to the shore in the morning.
Highlights: From the cliff above the beach, there is a view of a horseshoe-shaped cove guarded on both sides by tall white rocks. This is the only place in all of Sicily where you can simultaneously swim in crystal-clear sea and observe the ruins of a 12th-century Norman castle peeking above the pine forest.

- The best spot for your towel is the left part of the beach under the olive grove, where there is more shade and fewer people.
- Bring water shoes because the pebbles can be hot and sharp underfoot.
- Stop by the bakery in Terrasini for arancini before coming to the beach, you will save 5 euros per meal.
- After 4 PM the wind dies down and the sea becomes completely calm, ideal for floating on your back.
