About
Quick facts: At 80 meters in height, it is one of the highest natural sea arches in the world. It was formed by centuries of erosion from sea and wind, breaking through the limestone rock.
Highlights: When you stand directly beneath it and look up, through the 20-meter opening you see only sky and sea. The sound of waves crashing against the rock echoes inside the cave, creating a natural symphony that can be heard from as far as 50 meters away.
Insider tips
- Wear sneakers with rubber soles, the rocks are slippery due to waves and moisture.
- You get the best photos from the bottom side, behind the arch, as the waves hit the base.
- Bring a snorkeling mask, the water in the surrounding coves is crystal clear and rich with fish.
- Avoid weekends in August when the place is full of swimmers and tourists until 11 a.m.
