快速信息: A lavish house contains 34 rooms, where hand-painted ceilings, carved woodwork and Italian marble collide with tropical light. Garden layouts span about 10 acres of formal terraces, fountains and sculpted hedges that open to wide water vistas.
亮点: James Deering personally collected European architectural elements and asked designer Paul Chalfin to arrange them across 34 rooms, so you encounter whole carved doorways, hand-painted ceilings and mismatched antique tiles as if stepping into a rebuilt Mediterranean village. Fountains clink at dusk and a citrus-and-sea-salt perfume drifts along sunken paths, making ornate balustrades and garden statuary feel staged for private performances.

- Wear sturdy, closed shoes, paths and terraces can be uneven and slippery after rain.
- Bring sun protection and a refillable water bottle, much of the gardens have limited shade.
- Reserve a timed-entry ticket online and arrive 10 minutes early to clear security and enjoy quieter rooms.
- Photographers should shoot the Barge Room and west terraces at golden hour, avoid the main stairway during midafternoon crowds.
