Late afternoon, around 4-6 pm, when the low sun lights up the stone facade and the bazaar streets below are quieter. Mornings can be busy with tour groups passing through.

حقائق سريعة: يقف هذا المسجد الحجري الذي يعود إلى القرن الثامن عشر في قلب حي البازار القديم، حيث ترتفع قبته ومئذنته فوق البيوت ذات الأسقف الأردوازية أسفله. ما زال السكان المحليون يسمونه مسجد البازار، في إشارة إلى قرون من التجارة التي ملأت الشوارع من حوله.

Dress modestly with shoulders and knees covered, even though the mosque is small and short visits are common.
Visit on a weekday rather than a weekend to have the courtyard almost entirely to yourself.
Bring a camera with a wide lens, the painted ceiling detail is tight and hard to capture with a phone.
Ask the caretaker if you can climb to the gallery level, the view over the bazaar rooftops from up there is worth the stairs.
