حقائق سريعة: More than 50 bottlenose dolphins have been born at this marine park since it opened, making its breeding program one of Europe's most successful. The park also houses the largest indoor tropical rainforest in Belgium, complete with free-flying birds and butterflies.

The dolphinarium's 10-meter-deep main pool lets you see the animals dive all the way down from above, a perspective most marine parks don't offer.

• Arrive 15 minutes before the first dolphin show to grab front-row seats in the splash zone (yes, you will get wet).
• The free-flight tropical bird aviary is much quieter after 3 PM when most families head to the outdoor playground.
• Bring swimsuits and towels even on cool days, the heated indoor water play area operates year-round.
• Skip the on-site restaurant and pack a picnic instead, there are plenty of shaded benches near the sealion pool.
