حقائق سريعة: على ثلاثة تلال يقع أقدم جزء من المدينة، حيث عاش الناس منذ 8000 عام. هنا ترك التراقيون والمقدونيون والرومان آثارهم، واليوم هو مكان تجمع شهير بإطلالة خلابة.
النقاط البارزة: تحت أرضيات القلعة القديمة توجد طبقات من خمس حضارات مختلفة، يمكنك مشاهدتها من خلال الألواح الزجاجية في الأرض. الأمر الأكثر إثارة للدهشة هو أنه يمكنك وسط الأنقاض تناول القهوة ومشاهدة غروب الشمس، كما كان يشاهده أعضاء مجلس الشيوخ الروماني قبل 2000 عام.

- For the best photo, stand at the far southern edge of the hill, where you get the full panorama of the old town center.
- Wear comfortable shoes, as the paths are paved with uneven stones and several steep inclines lead up to them.
- It is most peaceful on weekdays early in the morning, before the tourists have gathered.
- Keep a flashlight on your phone handy if you want to explore the preserved Roman underground spaces beneath the fortress.
