حقائق سريعة: أثناء عبورك عند الغسق، تبدو السلاسل الحديدية المنحوتة وتماثيل الأسود الوقورة مسرحية بشكل غريب، بينما تحول أضواء الفيضانات الجسر إلى شريط متلألئ فوق الماء. أسطورة دائمة تقول إن الأسود ليس لها ألسنة، ولكن التفحص الدقيق يظهر أنها نُحتت معها ألسنة مخبأة في الظل، وهذا يفاجئ العديد من الزوار.
النقاط البارزة: مهندسته ويليام تيرني كلارك وبناؤه تحت إشراف المهندس الاسكتلندي آدم كلارك، افتُتح الجسر لأول مرة في عام 1849، دُمِر عام 1945، وأُعيد بناؤه وأُعيد افتتاحه بشكل رائع بعد مئة عام بالضبط من افتتاحه في 1949. يندهش الزوار دائمًا من الأربعة تماثيل الحجرية للأسود التي نحتها يانوس مارشالكو، فيميلون للنظر إلى فكوكها لأن نكتة محلية تقول إن الأسود ليس لها ألسنة، رغم أن النظر عن قرب يكشف عن ألسنة صغيرة مُنحوتة مخبأة بين الأسنان.

- Wear sturdy shoes, the pavement can be uneven and slick in winter.
- Ride tram 2 along the Pest riverside for low-cost alternative views and photo stops.
- Stand midway on the bridge facing the Parliament building for the classic shot, avoid leaning on busy balustrades.
- Avoid the midday tour-boat rush between 11:00 and 15:00 if you want clearer shots and fewer people.
