حقائق سريعة: تبلغ مساحة هذا الحصن حوالي 94 هكتاراً ويتكون من الحجر الأحمر الذي تم جلبه من نهر يامونا. مدخله يدعى بوابة أمر سينغ وله زخارف فريدة من الزخارف الزهرية والحيوانية.
النقاط البارزة: أحد أركان هذا الحصن يضم ديوان الخاص، المكان الذي كان يستقبل فيه إمبراطور المغول ضيوفه، بسقف مرصع بالذهب الخالص. في الفناء الداخلي، يمكن للزوار رؤية حوض الاستحمام الفاخر الذي كان يستخدمه أفراد العائلة المالكة.
نصائح من الداخل
- Wear comfortable shoes as the fort area is quite large and walking can be tiring.
- The best photos are at the outer area of the fort when the morning sun lights up the red walls.
- Do not miss Diwan-i-Khas, the entrance to the Emperor's chambers which is rarely crowded with visitors.
- Avoid visiting during midday in the summer to avoid the scorching heat.
