حقائق سريعة: يرتفع البرج 72.5 متراً مع 379 درجة حلزونية في الداخل، وتتناوب فيه نطاقات الحجر الرملي مع الرخام لتشكل صورة ظلية مخططة. يميل البرج قليلاً حوالي 65 سنتيمتراً عن العمودي، ومع ذلك صمد أمام الزلازل لقرون.
النقاط البارزة: انظر عن كثب إلى الطوابق الثلاثة الأولى وستجد نقوشاً عربية منحوتة في الحجر، لكن الطوابق العليا تتحول إلى رخام أملس بزخارف أبسط، وهو خط واضح حيث غيّر البناؤون الأساليب في منتصف المشروع. العمود الحديدي الواقف في الفناء قاوم الصدأ لأكثر من 1600 عام، وتقول الأسطورة إن أمنيتك تتحقق إذا استطعت إحاطته بذراعيك من خلف ظهرك.

- Go to the back garden area for a wide-angle shot of the tower without crowds in the foreground.
- Bring a government-issued photo ID, as security checks are thorough and slow during peak hours.
- Skip climbing the tower itself; visitors are not allowed past the base level, so spend your time exploring the surrounding Quwwat-ul-Islam mosque ruins instead.
- Hire one of the official guides near the entrance for around 300-500 INR, or download an offline audio guide to avoid getting lost in the historical details.
