حقائق سريعة: منحوتة في تلين على بُعد 6 كيلومترات فقط من بعضهما، تقدم هذه الكهوف 117 غرفة منحوتة في الصخر استخدمها رهبان جاين قبل ألفي عام. كهف راني غومفا وحده يضم 31 غرفة موزعة على طابقين مع نقوش بارزة منحوتة بدقة.
النقاط البارزة: في غانيش غومفا، ستجد لوحة منحوتة قد تكون أقدم تصوير معروف لعرض رقص درامي في الهند، مع موسيقيين ومؤدين محفورين في الحجر. نقش "هاثيغومفا" المنحوت في جانب التل يروي قصة الملك كارافيلا في 17 سطراً من النص البراكريتي، ليعمل كصحيفة من 2000 عام مضت.

- Look for the sculpted elephant frieze on the upper level of Udayagiri, easily missed but incredibly detailed.
- Bring water and a small flashlight to examine the darker interior chambers where carvings are best seen.
