حقائق سريعة: يقع هذا الحصن الضخم الذي يعود للقرن السابع عشر في وادٍ ناءٍ بجبال الهيمالايا في ولاية هيماشال براديش، وقد كان ذات يوم محطة حيوية على طريق الحرير التجاري القديم. يحيط به سور طوله 2.5 كيلومتر يضم بلدة صغيرة متكاملة مع المعابد والمخازن، ونفق هروب مخفي يمتد لنحو كيلومتر عبر الجبل.
النقاط البارزة: في عمق أسوار الحصن، يوجد نفق سري من ثلاثة طوابق محفور مباشرة في الصخر الصلب، صُمم بحيث يمكن للخيول المرور عبره للهروب السريع أثناء الحصارات. الزوار الذين ينزلون إلى ممره المظلم لا يزالون يشعرون بهواء الجبل البارد يتدفق عبر فتحات التهوية القديمة.

- Wear sturdy shoes with good grip, as the uneven stone staircases inside the fort can be slippery and steep.
- Carry a flashlight or use your phone torch to explore the dark escape tunnel its full length is surprisingly long and atmospheric.
- Climb to the highest watchtower near the western wall for unobstructed panoramic views of the valley and snow peaks.
- Arrive right when it opens to experience the fort before tour groups arrive especially during peak season from March to June.
