حقائق سريعة: شارع البلدة الذي تصطف على جانبيه الأشجار، ذا مول، بني على أرض مستصلحة من مستنقعات النهر في أواخر القرن الثامن عشر ويضم الآن أكثر من 200 شجرة زان. ثلاثة جسور عاملة تعبر نهر كارو بيغ ضمن مسافة 200 متر، يقدم كل منها منظرا مختلفا لواجهات المحلات الملونة المنعكسة في الماء.
النقاط البارزة: في ذا أوكتاغون، ساحة البلدة المركزية المثمنة الأضلاع، يقف هرم من الجرانيت بارتفاع 9 أمتار في موقع صليب السوق القديم حيث كان المزارعون يتاجرون بالمواشي. كل صباح سبت، لا يزال الصيادون المحليون يبيعون الإسقمري وسرطان البحر الطازج من مؤخرة شاحناتهم في نفس الموقع، وهو تقليد يمتد عبر الأجيال.
