حقائق سريعة: تمتد هذه المحمية الطبيعية على طول 7 كيلومترات على الساحل الشمالي الغربي البري لصقلية، وتحمي أحد آخر الامتدادات البكر من الشواطئ المتوسطية. تعشش هنا أكثر من 40 نوعًا نادرًا من الطيور، وتخفي المياه الصافية تمامًا كهوفًا قديمة استخدمها الصيادون والمهربون ذات يوم.

- Start from the southern entrance (Scopello side) for easier access to the best swimming coves like Cala dell'Uzzo within a 20-minute walk.
- Pack water shoes: most beaches are pebbly and the sharp rocks can be uncomfortable without them.
- Bring snorkeling gear, the underwater caves and seagrass meadows teem with colorful fish and occasional octopus.
- Skip the full 7-km one-way hike if you're short on time, just walk 2 km north from the entrance to reach the three most beautiful coves.
