النقاط البارزة: انزلق عبر ممر ضيق يشبه النفق يضم أكثر من 5,000 بوابة توري قرمزية، وخشبها المطلي يتلألأ تحت الشمس بينما الهواء يحمل رائحة خفيفة من البخور وخشب الأرز العتيق. لاحظ أن كل بوابة منقوش عليها اسم المتبرع وسنة التبرع على طول الممر الذي يبلغ حوالي 4 كيلومترات. بين البوابات ستجد مئات تماثيل الثعالب الحجرية ترتدي مناديل حمراء، وبعضها يمسك بمفاتيح صغيرة بفمها، ويترك السكان المحليون بهدوء الأرز والسوكي (مشروب تقليدي) في أصغر المذابح كعادة يُعتقد أنها تحافظ على تدفق الحظ الجيد للجبال.

- Check tide times and aim for high tide if you want the torii to appear to float, low tide allows a close walk-out for different shots.
- Arrive before 08:30 to avoid large tour groups, or visit after 17:00 in summer when crowds thin.
- Wear comfortable, slip-resistant shoes for wooden boardwalks and steep trails if you plan to hike Mount Misen.
- Head to the beach near Momijidani Park for the classic torii silhouette photo, and do not feed or chase the deer.
