النقاط البارزة: أكثر من 3000 شجرة كرز تحيط بالحديقة، وعندما تتفتح في أواخر مارس، تجعل المظلة الوردية الفاتحة والبتلات الناعمة التي تتساقط في الخندق المائي الطوابق الخمسة الخارجية والطوابق الثمانية الداخلية للقلعة تبدو وكأنها تطفو على بحيرة وردية. في متحف القلعة يمكنك الانحناء لدخول غرفة الشاي الذهبية المعاد بناؤها، حيث يلمع كل لوح منزلق بأوراق الذهب، والهواء القريب المعبق بالبخور يجعلك تتخيل تويوتومي هيديوشي وهو يستضيف مراسم شاي صغيرة مسرحية.

- Photograph the castle from the Nishinomaru Garden or the Otemon Gate bridge for classic shots with the moat and stone walls.
- Head to the top floor first for panoramic views to avoid elevator queues, then work back through the exhibits.
- Visit at opening or late afternoon to miss the busiest midday crowds, and carry a light rain jacket in spring for sudden showers.
