حقائق سريعة: يضم المتحف أكثر من 300,000 عينة موزعة على أربعة مبانٍ شاسعة بُنيت أصلاً لافتتاح متحف كلية سابورو الزراعية عام 1899. تقع أرض المتحف داخل حديقة غابة نوبورو البالغة مساحتها 12 هكتاراً، وهي مساحة خضراء محمية تضاعف عملها كمعرض في الهواء الطلق يضم منشآت تاريخية منقولة.

النقاط البارزة: المعروض النجمي في المتحف هو قرية رائدة أعيد بناؤها بالكامل من القرن التاسع عشر، حيث يمكنك الدخول إلى مدرسة خشبية قديمة، ومعمل ساكي، وحتى ورشة حدادة ما تزال تعمل. نُقل كل مبنى بعناية قطعة قطعة من مختلف أنحاء هوكايدو، ويؤدي الموظفون بملابس العصر حرفاً حقيقية مثل حياكة حصير التاتامي وصناعة شعرية السوبا.

Bring water and comfortable walking shoes, the outdoor village requires a fair amount of walking on gravel paths.
