حقائق سريعة: يمتد على طول هذا الممشى الساحلي 150 متراً من البلاط الملوّن الذي صممه فنان إيطالي في تسعينيات القرن الماضي. تنتشر على طول البحر المقاهي والمطاعم والمتاجر، وتنفتح الإطلالة نحو فاليتا من كل نقطة تقريباً على طول الشارع.
النقاط البارزة: البلاط على الأرض ليس بلاطاً سيراميكياً عادياً، بل فسيفساء مصنوعة يدوياً تضم أكثر من 10,000 قطعة فردية في 27 درجة مختلفة من الأزرق والأحمر والأصفر. عندما تغرب الشمس فوق فاليتا، تعكس البلاطات الضوء بحيث تبدو الشارع كاملاً وكأنه مضاء بالنار.

- Photograph the mosaic from a low angle in the morning when the sun falls directly on the patterns
- Bring comfortable shoes because the tiles are slippery when wet from the sea
- Skip lunch at the restaurants right on the shore and stop by a bakery two blocks further for authentic pastizzi
- The best spot for a photo of Valletta is between two palm trees at the very end of the promenade
