حقائق سريعة: افتتحت أول جامعة عامة ناطقة باللغة الإنجليزية في المغرب أبوابها عام 1995 بما يزيد قليلاً عن 500 طالب. صُمم الحرم الجامعي على غرار كليات الفنون الحرة الأمريكية، ويضم ملعباً للغولف ومركزاً للفروسية ومسجداً وكنيسة متجاورين يرمزان إلى الحوار بين الأديان.
النقاط البارزة: عندما تخطو إلى الحرم الجامعي المبني بالطوب الأحمر، قد تظن أنك هبطت في نيو إنجلاند وليس في جبال الأطلس المتوسط. تقع الكنيسة والمسجد جنباً إلى جنب، في بيان معماري متعمد حيث يدرس الطلاب من جميع الأديان تحت أشجار الصنوبر المظللة نفسها.
