حقائق سريعة: تفتح الأزقة المرصوفة بالحصى على ساحة كاتدرائية هادئة تفوح منها رائحة أزهار البرتقال، حيث يجعل ضوء آخر النهار الحجر الجيري يتوهج كالعسل الدافئ. يحتضن عقد مضغوط من المنازل المطلية باللون الأبيض متاحف صغيرة وورش حرفية ومقاهي حيث يتجمع السكان المحليون على الإسبريسو.
النقاط البارزة: من على الأسوار يمكنك مشاهدة مجموعات من الفلامينغو الوردي تحلق فوق المستنقعات المالحة القريبة، وفي بعض الأحيان يصل عددها إلى المئات وهي تتلألأ على المياه الزرقاء الضحلة. خلف باب ضيق يختبئ مصلى يعرض بلاطات مرسومة يدويًا بأسماء البحارة وتواريخ من القرنين الثامن عشر والتاسع عشر. التواقيع المتلاشية تضيف طبقة بشرية ومالحة إلى الحجارة المرصوفة.
