حقائق سريعة: يتوافد راكبو الأمواج هنا على مدار العام لأمواج قد تصل إلى 3 أمتار خلال هبوب الشتاء. يمتد شريط من الرمال الذهبية بطول 4 كيلومترات ليتصل مباشرة بشبكة مسارات الدراجات الساحلية في بورتو.
النقاط البارزة: عند انحسار المد، تكشف البرك الصخرية المكشوفة قرب الطرف الشمالي عن سرطانات صغيرة وشقائق نعمان البحر وأسماك صغيرة محاصرة في الأحواض الطبيعية. يصل السكان المحليون عند شروق الشمس ومعهم أجهزة الكشف عن المعادن، يمشطون الرمال الرطبة بحثاً عن العملات والمجوهرات التي فقدها المستحمون في اليوم السابق.
