حقائق سريعة: المبنى نفسه هو مثال بارز على العمارة المصرية الجديدة، وهو واحد من عدد قليل من هذه الهياكل في روسيا. تمتد معروضاته من عظام الماموث التي تعود لعصور ما قبل التاريخ إلى قطع أثرية توثق دور سيبيريا في الحرب العالمية الثانية، مع أكثر من 400,000 قطعة في المجموعة.
النقاط البارزة: الكرسي الشبيه بالعرش في المتحف جلس عليه القيصر الروسي الأخير نيكولاس الثاني خلال زيارته لكراسنويارسك عام 1891، ولا يزال بإمكانك رؤية التنجيد الأصلي ومساند الذراعين التي تآكلت بفعل الشخصيات البارزة. حتى واجهة المبنى تروي قصة: الأعمدة الضخمة منحوتة بزخارف اللوتس والبردي المستوحاة من المعابد المصرية القديمة، واختيرت لإثارة الغموض حول ماضي سيبيريا القديم.

- The mammoth skeleton on the ground floor is the real deal, not a cast; ask staff which bones were actually found together in the permafrost.
- Skip the English audioguide if you're in a hurry: the Russian text panels have much more detail, and Google Lens translation works fine.
- Visit the second-floor balcony area for a close-up look at the carved ceiling rosettes, which many visitors miss entirely.
- The museum shop sells excellent Soviet-era poster reproductions and local birch bark crafts for under 500 RUB.
