حقائق سريعة: أكثر من 30 مبنى تم ترميمه من مختلف محافظات المملكة العربية السعودية جرى نقلها وإعادة بنائها بدقة في هذا الموقع الذي تبلغ مساحته 4,000 متر مربع. يحكي كل مبنى قصة العمارة الإقليمية، من البيوت الساحلية المصنوعة من الحجر المرجاني إلى القلاع الجبلية المشيدة من الحجر المحلي وجذوع النخيل.
النقاط البارزة: يتميز بيت القط العسيري بجدران مغطاة بالكامل بجداريات هندسية ملونة رسمتها نساء، وهو فن تقليدي معترف به الآن من قبل اليونسكو. يمكنك الوقوف داخل غرفة حيث يحكي كل سطح قصة من خلال المثلثات والماسات والخطوط المتعرجة الزاهية المطبقة في طبقات من الأصباغ الطبيعية.
