حقائق سريعة: يقع المتحف مباشرة فوق أحد أكثر أودية الأنهار هيبة في أوروبا، حيث يضيق نهر الدانوب بشكل حاد ويندفع عبر جبال الكاربات. ويعرض قسمه الخارجي مقاطع أصلية من الطرق الرومانية المنحوتة في الجروف على يد مهندسي الإمبراطور ترايان قبل ما يقرب من 2,000 عام.
النقاط البارزة: لوحة حجرية رومانية ضخمة، وهي نقش حجري نحت على ارتفاع 50 مترًا فوق منحدرات نهر الدانوب، تُعلن انتصار ترايان العسكري للسفن المارة. يمكنك الوقوف على نفس الطريق الحجري الذي سار عليه جنود الفيلق الروماني خلال الحروب الداتشية، مع أخاديد عميقة ما تزال محفورة في الصخر بفعل عجلات مركباتهم.

- The viewing terrace above the parking lot offers the best photo angle of the gorge and the inscribed cliff face together.
- Check if the hydropower plant visitor center is open on the same ticket, it lets you see the Danube from inside the dam.
