حقائق سريعة: يقع هذا المتحف داخل مجمع قلعة ضخم يعود للقرن الثامن عشر، ويضم أكثر من 300,000 قطعة أثرية تمتد من عصور ما قبل التاريخ وحتى الحرب العالمية الثانية. ومن بين كنوزه دروع الفرسان من العصور الوسطى، وأسلحة الحقبة العثمانية، والمقتنيات الشخصية للعائلة المالكة الصربية.
النقاط البارزة: من أبرز المعروضات إثارةً البوابة الأصلية من حصار بلغراد عام 1456، والتي ما تزال تحمل ندوبًا عميقة ناجمة عن اصطدام القذائف المدافع وضربات السيوف. يمكنك حرفيًا تمرير أصابعك على نفس الأخاديد التي حفرتها القذائف العثمانية قبل ما يقرب من 600 عام.
