Arrive by 9 AM on weekdays from June to September to claim a prime spot before the crowds roll in around 11 AM. May and October offer cooler water but nearly empty beaches with half the heat.

The beach itself is completely free public access with no entry fee. Rent a pair of loungers and an umbrella for around 15-20 euros for the full day, or bring your own towel and save that cash for fresh grilled octopus from the kiosks.

حقائق سريعة: يمتد هذا الشاطئ على شكل هلال لمسافة 1.5 كيلومتر على طول خليج باليرمو برمال بيضاء ناعمة كالدقيق بين أصابع قدميك. تبقى المياه ضحلة لنحو 100 متر إلى الخارج، مما يجعل السباحة فيه أشبه بالسباحة في حوض استحمام دافئ ضخم.
النقاط البارزة: في الطرف الشمالي يقف رصيف خشبي فخم يُدعى "أنتيمورالي" حيث ما زال المراهقون المحليون يقفزون في المياه الفيروزية كما يفعلون منذ أجيال. من هذا الموقع، يمتد المنظر متجاوزاً حمامات فن الآرت نوفو مباشرة نحو جرف مونتي بيليغرينو الجيري الضخم الذي يطل على الخليج الصغير بأكمله.
نصائح من الداخل
- Skip the central section near the parking lot where everyone piles in, walk 10 minutes to the left toward the pier for more space and better water.
- Bring water shoes because the first few meters near the shore have small pebbles before the sand smooths out.
- The lido restaurants charge triple for drinks compared to the market stalls on Via Piano di Stella just two blocks inland.
- Come back at sunset when the locals swim in the golden light and the limestone cliff turns pink.
