حقائق سريعة: بُني القصر من الرخام الإيطالي والحجر المحلي في الفترة من 1920 إلى 1926 للسلطان محمود علي شيروا. بعد احتراقه في عام 2020، لم يتبق سوى الواجهة الحجرية الضخمة التي لا تزال مكانا مفضلا لتجمعات السكان المحليين المسائية.

- The best photos are taken from the south side of the facade, where the most detailed ornamental stucco has been preserved.
- Avoid the midday heat between 12 and 3 p.m., the roof no longer exists and there is nowhere to hide from the sun.
- After the tour, try the Somali tea with ginger and milk at the entrance for a few cents.
