حقائق سريعة: كل يوم أحد، تتحول الساحة الرئيسية المرصوفة بالحصى إلى أكثر أسواق المزارعين أصالة في غران كناريا، حيث يبيع المزارعون الجبن واللوز والعسل مباشرة من شاحناتهم. البلدة هي القلب الديني للجزيرة، موطن كاتدرائية سيدة الصنوبر، التي تجذب آلاف الحجاج كل سبتمبر لمهرجان فيستا ديل بينو.
النقاط البارزة: في أول يوم أحد من سبتمبر، يحمل السكان المحليون تمثالا فضيا يزن 60 كيلوغراما للعذراء عبر شوارع تصطف على جانبيها بيوت كنارية عمرها 300 عام، وشرفاتها مزينة بمفارش مطرزة يدويا. تمثال شجرة الصنوبر في الكنيسة منحوت فعليا من قطعة خشب واحدة من الشجرة الأصلية التي ادعى الرعاة أن العذراء ظهرت عندها في عام 1481.
