حقائق سريعة: تجلس هذه الكنيسة المطلية بالبياض على منحدر يطل على المحيط الأطلسي، ويعود تاريخها إلى القرن الثامن عشر، وتتميز ببرج جرس واحد يعمل كمنارة للصيادين. تعكس جدرانها البيضاء الناصعة والإطارات الزرقاء الطابع المعماري الكناري التقليدي المنتشر في جميع أنحاء لانزاروت.
النقاط البارزة: ادخل إليها أثناء القداس الصباحي وستسمع صوت الكاهن يتردد صداه بين جدران الحجر البركاني بينما تتسلل أشعة الشمس عبر النوافذ المقوسة البسيطة، لتخلق مشهداً ذهبياً متلألئاً على المقاعد الخشبية العتيقة. وعلى خلاف المعالم الأكثر بريقاً في الجزيرة، ظلت هذه الكنيسة المرساة الروحية الهادئة لعائلات الصيادين المحليين لأكثر من 200 عام، والتمثال الخشبي الأصلي للسيدة العذراء تم إنقاذه من حطام سفينة في القرن الثامن عشر.
