حقائق سريعة: أكثر من 6 ملايين عينة تملأ قاعات المجموعات، من حفريات الديناصورات إلى الأحجار الكريمة المتلألئة. النجمة الرئيسية في المتحف، وهي هيكل عظمي لديبلودوكس بطول 14 مترًا، تستقبل الزوار مباشرة عند مدخل القاعة.
النقاط البارزة: في إحدى القاعات، يوجد الهيكل العظمي لـ"بيغ بيرثا"، فيل أفريقي يزن 40 طنًا عاش سابقًا في حديقة حيوان مدريد، إلى جانب حفرية كسلان ميغاثيريوم كاملة بشكل مذهل من الأرجنتين. معرض الحيتان يعلق هيكلًا عظميًا لحوت زعنفي بطول 20 مترًا من السقف، مما يتيح لك المشي مباشرة تحت ثاني أكبر حيوان على وجه الأرض.

- Head straight to the Biodiversity Hall on the top floor first, it's the most impressive and least crowded early in the day.
- Touch the 100-kilo meteorite in the Minerals Hall, it's one of the few exhibits you're actually allowed to handle.
- Skip the crowded ground floor T. rex area on weekends and save it for the last 30 minutes before closing.
- Photography without flash is permitted everywhere, the whale skeleton hall has great lighting around 2:00 PM.
